Waste separation made easy with WESCO

Organic waste, recyclables, residual waste and paper - there are many different types of waste that need to be disposed of correctly. Proper waste separation protects valuable resources and the environment. There are a few mistakes you can make here, as only correctly separated “single variety” waste can be recycled.

For us at WESCO, recycling and sustainability have been important aspects for many years.

As a pioneer and trendsetter, we launched the first separating waste collector back in the mid-1980s and have continued to develop new product solutions for the growing waste problem ever since.

Find the right system for sorting your waste with WESCO and make a valuable contribution to environmental protection.

Waste separation - protecting the climate and resources

Mankind currently consumes around 60 percent more natural resources per year than our planet can renew in the same period.1 It is therefore important to save resources - for example through recycling. If we return recyclable materials from packaging waste to the resource cycle, raw materials can be used several times instead of consuming new ones.

And what’s more: we also protect our climate. By recycling packaging from the yellow sack and yellow bin, glass, paper, cardboard and paperboard, more than 3.1 million tonnes of climate-damaging greenhouse gases such as CO2 are saved in Germany alone.
