An important topic for WESCO:
Resource conservation and sustainability

We can all do our bit to protect the environment, because sustainability starts with the little things. Things we can all integrate into our daily lives, such as separating waste. Here at WESCO, we have been working intensively on the topic of waste separation for over 35 years.

As a pioneer in this field, we launched the world’s first waste separator on the market in 1985 and were already focusing on the issue of resource conservation at a time when, for many people, it had not yet become an issue.

A very central factor for us is the topic of SPARE PARTS.

Under the heading ‘Fix it, don’t throw it away’, we offer a very wide range of spare parts in our online shop, which sets us apart from many other suppliers. A product that is not disposed of due to a defect but can be repaired is an important step towards conserving our limited resources.

Furthermore, the durability of the metals we use also contributes to the conservation of resources. And when the rubbish bin or bread bin is eventually disposed of, it can be recycled as scrap metal and returned to the production of steel.

Waste separation made easy with WESCO

Separating waste in the household is the first important step towards effective recycling, which in turn is a prerequisite for saving natural resources. For us at WESCO, recycling and sustainability have been important aspects for many years. As a pioneer and driving force, we launched the first separate waste collector back in the mid-1980s and have continued to develop new product solutions for the growing waste problem to this day.
